Thank you for your many submissions to our 2024 IDS Composition Contest. 

The amount of entries was phenomenal at over 400!  

We would like to announce the winners as follows:

First Prize ($400): Riding to School with Samuel Becket by Neal Endicott

Second Prize ($200): Moving Space by Edmund Song

Honorable Mention: Dans Un Sentier tout Parfume by Jeffrey Fong 

We would like to extend a big thank you to our judges, Dr. Marcus Maroney and Dr. O'Neal Douglas for their expertise and time.... it was a very strong field! 

The First Prize composition will be performed at the Symposium by the Clarinet (Dr. Malena McLaren) and Cello (Paul Christopher) professors here at Northwestern State.
