Three Reeds Duo 2019-0053.jpg

Three Reeds Duo is a chamber ensemble consisting of Paul Forsyth (saxophone) and Leah Forsyth (oboe). Three Reeds was formed in 2005 for a performance at the 2006 NASA Biennial Conference at the University of Iowa. Since that time Three Reeds has been building a repertoire consisting of Baroque and Classical transcriptions, original compositions for the instrumentation (sometimes incorporating piano), and most recently many new compositions written for, and commissioned by, the Three Reeds Duo. This ensemble has performed in a variety of venues throughout the country, from weddings to International Double Reed Society conferences and World Saxophone Congresses.

For the past three years, Three Reeds Duo has enjoyed the success of our debut CD, signals cross, featuring newly commissioned works for oboe and saxophone, and released on Blue Griffin Records.  Please preview the title track below.  To purchase a CD for $15 please click HERE to send us a message.
